Overview

David McDonald has over 20 years’ experience in property, commercial, and business law, with expertise in property and land development, leasing, contract drafting, and advising on contractual issues.

After graduating in law, David gained a position as a solicitor with Phillips Fox in 1990 before forming McDonald Pynt Lawyers with Steven Pynt in 2003.

History

During his career spanning several decades, David held key positions within the legal industry, including Solicitor at Williams & Hughes, Director of McDonald Pynt Lawyers, Special Counsel at Lawfield Legal Practice, and Director of David McDonald Legal before re-joining Steven Pynt to form MP Commercial Lawyers in 2018.

In addition to his work within the legal profession, David has also been actively involved in the Fremantle community having served as a Board Member of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce for 4 years and Director of the Fremantle Foundation Ltd for over 12 years.

David was also a member of Impact100 from 2013 to 2021 and helped co-ordinate numerous annual events to help fund grants for important local initiatives. Through his hard work and dedication, he has earned a reputation as a trusted and reliable solicitor who is highly regarded by his peers and clients alike.

Recognition

David was awarded a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia in 1990 and was entered into the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia in 1992.
